Visiting our quirky penguins at Boulders Beach is quite an experience. This is one of the few sites where you can observe African penguins at close range, as they wander freely in a protected natural environment. From just two breeding pairs in 1982, the population has grown to several thousand in recent years.
The Bo-Kaap is a city of great significance, a rainbow-coloured housed and steep cobblestone roads. He is a social hub of a big city, he has been a social hub of Cape Town's historical heritage. At the top of the Bo-Kaap, you will find the famous Noon Gun. This canon goes off every day at 12h00 sharp! ... giving many a short start.

Robben Island is an essential destination for any visitor to a South African political history. This little island which was once a leper colony has housed a mental institution, a military base, a whaling station, but is better known as the prison island on which Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for political activism. It is now a museum dedicated to the preservation of struggle and his ability to rise above his brutal incarceration and dream of the Rainbow Nation we have today.
And lastly, the iconic, Cape Town's own Natural Wonder of the World, Table Mountain is impossible to miss when the city - literally. This stunning and unique geographical feature is visible from the most city, but a cable car ride - or short hike - is almost obligatory. This iconic feature gives its name to constellation - Canteen, which means the table. You can see the constellation below Orion around midnight in mid-July. 'Tablecloth' on certain days, clouds will billow over the mountain to form. Legend has it, there was once a pipe-smoking competition between the Devil and a Dutch pirate called Van Hunks, destined to be repeated every year, the tablecloth symbolizes this puffing contest.
